I was born while my dad was still in the RAF, and as a baby sat in my pram to the sound of aircraft. I have always had a love of flying and aircraft. I was lucky enough to have spent a number of years with a Full Pilots Licence flying around the South of England and have a passion for aircraft that has not diminished. I know how the physics work, but there is still something magical about taking tons of metal and making it fly. The technical advances, even in my lifetime, have been phenominal. I regularly spend time volunteering at the Solent Sky Aircraft Museum ( link ) showing folks around a huge 1943 Sunderland Flying boat.
I love exploring Aircraft, reading Aircraft history, understanding how aircraft work, and of course, taking photographs of Aircraft. Technically challenging, of course, but impressive and great fun.
